Estrogen deficiency can contribute to osteoporosis in postmenopausal women. Phytoestrogens are becoming more widely recognized as potential estrogen replacement therapy. The administration of phytoestrogens cause bone formation, which is marked by an increase Runx2 expression osteoblast cells and be seen using western blot immunohistochemistry approaches. This review aimed compare the detection methods phytoestrogen-induced tissue blots immunohistochemistry. Selectivity, sensitivity, processing time, cost-effectiveness were parameters that compared. was done identifying articles several databases (Google Scholar, PubMed, Science Direct). process selecting used PRISMA guidelines create a flowchart with inclusion exclusion study criteria. Meta-synthesis analyze, identify, interpret all data systematically. 70 total obtained from selection process, 21 being relevant topic. result shows selectivity sensitivity for detecting on 93.5–100%, respectively, whereas 45–99.5%, respectively.
